What happens when you combine an unemployed 49-year-old, borrowed money, a concept that sells items for loonie and a lot of hard work.  You get an empire of 63 Dollar Giant stores covering five Canadian provinces.  Brad and Joe talk about his personal history including the ups and downs of managing some of Canada's most well known brands at a senior executive level including K-Mart, Army and Navy and Superstar. Later in the interview, they move to a conversation about the changing landscape in Canadian retailing and the lessons we can learn from our southern neighbors.
